Standards in Bold are the standards in the current unit 6.RP.1 – I can use ratios to describe the relationship between quantities. 6.RP.2 – I understand the relationship between a ratios, unit rates, and a related fraction. 6.RP.3 – I can use multiple models & strategies to solve real life rate problems including percents and rate conversions. 5.NF.1 – I can add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators as well as mixed numbers. 5.NF.6 - I can multiply fractions. 6.NS.1 – I can divide fractions. 6.NS.2 – I can add, subtract, multiply & divide multi-digit numbers without a calculator. 6.NS.3 – I can add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals without a calculator. 6.NS.4 – I can find and use factors and multiples to ease problem solving. 6.NS.5 - I can position positive and negative numbers on a number line. 6.NS.6/8 – I can locate ordered pairs on a coordinate grid and find vertical and horizontal distances. 6.NS.7 – I understand and can order absolute values. 6.EE.1 – I understand and can evaluate exponents. 6.EE.2 – I can read, write, and evaluate algebraic expressions. 6.EE.3 – I can write and determine equivalent expressions. 6.EE.5a – I can write and solve equations. 6.EE.5b – I can write and solve inequalities. 6.EE.9 – I can analyze a graph or equation and identify the relationship between the variables. 6.G.1 – I can find the area complex shapes. 6.G.2 – I can find the volume of a rectangular prism. 6.G.3 – I can draw and identify polygons on a coordinate grid and determine side lengths. 6.G.4 – I can model prisms and pyramids and find their surface areas. 7.G.4 – I can find the area and circumference of a circle. 6.SP.1 – I recognize and write statistical questions with variable responses. 6.SP.2 – I can describe a set of data by it’s center, spread, and shape. 6.SP.3 – I can find measures of center and measures of variability for a set of data. 6.SP.4 – I can represent data on a number line graph such as a stem and leaf, a dot plot, a histogram, a box plot. 6.MP.1 – I make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. 6.MP.2 – I reason abstractly and quantitatively. 6.MP.3 – I construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. 6.MP.4 – I model with mathematics. 6.MP.5 – I use appropriate tools strategically. 6.MP.6 – I attend to precision. 6.MP.7 – I look for and make use of structure. 6.MP.8 – I look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. |
