Accentuate the Negative 7.NS.1 – I can add and subtract positive and negative numbers without a calculator. 7.NS.2 – I can multiply and divide with positive and negative numbers without a calculator. 7.NS.3 – I can correctly use the order of operations for problems that include fractions, decimals, whole numbers and negatives. 8.NS.1 – I know the difference between a rational and an irrational number and interchange equivalent decimal and fraction values. 8.NS.2 – I can find and use approximations of irrational numbers to estimate their value. Shapes & Designs/Kaliedoscopes/Stretching & Shrinking 7.G.1 – I can compute lengths and areas from a scale drawing and create my own scale drawings. 7.G.2 – I can construct and describe triangles from 3 angle or side measures and determine if the result is a unique shape. 7.RP.2 – I can identify when ratios are proportional and represent them in multiple ways. 7.RP.3 – I can use proportional relationships to solve percent problems. 8.G.1 – I can draw an image of a shape given a transforming rule. 8.G.2 – Given a congruent set of shapes, I can describe the transformations from the original to the image. 8.G.3 – Given a similar set of shapes, I can describe the transformations from the original to the image. 8.G.4 – I determine if shapes are similar given their features or rule. 8.G.5 – I can use angle relationships and vocabulary to prove values of missing angles.
